SUK Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)

SUK Semester Grade Point Average SGPA is calculated using following equation:

SGPA = Σ (Course credits of passed courses × Earn credits)/ Σ Course credits in registered courses

SUK Cumulative Grade Point Average CGPA is calculated by taking into account all the courses of all the semesters of a program, i.e.

CGPA = Σ (Course credits of passed courses × Earn credits)/ Σ Course credits in registered courses (of all the courses)

Both SGPA and CGPA shall be rounded off to 2 decimal points.

The subjects in which the student has got Zero grade points will also be included in calculating SGPA and CGPA

For regular students, Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) will be calculated cumulatively for 1st semester to 8th semester.
For lateral entry students Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) will be calculated cumulatively for 3rd semester to 8th semester.
