SRM University Btech 2018 Calculation of SGPA and CGPA are given here

Learning Credits 

Learning Credits are earned by the learner based on the following pattern

Learning Environment Learning Credit (C)
1 Hour* Learning from a Lecture Session per week (L) 1
1 Hour* Learning from a Tutorial Session per week (T)  1
1 Hour* Learning from a Practice Session per week (P) 0.5

.(* 1Hour of Learning is usually a 50-60 minute period)
Grade Letter 

The performance of a student in a particular course (Paper) based on percentage of actual marks secured by a student in a course/paper. It is indicated by a Grade letter O, A, B, C,D, E, F. There is a range of marks for each Grade Letter.
Grade Point

It is the weightage allotted to each grade letter in number from 0 to 10
Credit points

Grade point X Learning Credits of a subject
Calculation of SGPA and CGPA
Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA)

indicates the performance of a student in a given Semester.
Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)

indicates the performance of a student in all Semesters.

The SGPA and CGPA shall be rounded off to 2 decimal points

Semester 1 SGPA= Total Credits Points / Total Credits = 224/23 = 9.73

Sem 1 SGPA = 9.73

Similarly SGPA of Sem 2 to Sem 8 can be found.

As the marks are given in the transcript, there is no provision for converting CGPA to percentage of marks
