NEET II – 2016 AIPMT (Phase 2) Eligibility Criteria

NEET 2016    NEET 2016 – Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2016 Phase 2 on July 24, 2016. All medical aspirants can apply for NEET 2016, as ruled by the Supreme Court of India. As per directives of the SC, candidates who could not register in All-India Pre Medical and Dental Test (AIPMT)/NEET Phase I, held on May 1, 2016, can apply for NEET 2016 Phase II. Besides this, NEET Phase 2 exam can be taken by all candidates irrespective of their appearance in AIPMT/NEET Phase 1. Candidates who will appear in NEET 2016 Phase 2 exam have to give up their NEET 2016 Phase 1 score. AIPMT 2016 has been renamed as NEET 2016 Phase 1. The result for both the phases will be declared on August 17, 2016 for providing admissions to approximately 30, 000 MBBS and BDS seats under 15% All India Quota, Private/Management/NRI Quota Seats in all Private Medical / Dental Colleges or any Private/Deemed University. Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are Eligible for appearing in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET)

Age Limit: Applicant must be at least 17 years old as on December 31, 2016. The age limit is 25 years for general and 30 years for SC / ST / OBC category candidates

Candidate must born on or between:
(a) 01 January 1987 to 01 January 2000 (SC/ST/OBC Category)
(b) 01 January 1992 to 01 January 2000 (Other Category)

Eligibility for All India Quota Seats:

  • Candidates must have appeared or will be appearing in 2016 for class 10+2 or equivalent exam. The candidate must appear and qualify the class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology (PCB) Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT)
  • Applicants has passed the B.Sc. Examination of an Indian University with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Bio-technology and further that they has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
  • Candidate must secured at least 50% marks in PCB or 45% (General PH) or 40% (SC / ST / OBC)
