Salary : Pay scale 5200 to 20200 + 1900 grade pay (7th Pay scale 19500 to 62000, 4th level)
Eligibility criteria Jail Gaurd MP
The candidate should have passed High School under 10+2 pattern or higher secondary in old system.
Physical Measurements
Height : The minimum height of the candidate should be 165 CM for Male, 158 Cm for Female
Chest : 83 Cm for Male Only
Age Limit:
The minimum age of the applicants should be 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01st January 2018 for general category. There is a relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates.
Maximum age limit for MP domicile general category candidates is 33 years. Maximum age limit for MP domicile general category female candidates is 38 years.
Maximum age limit for MP domicile reserved category male female candidates is 38 years.

General category candidates are required to deposit Jail prahari application fee Rs 500/-
Reserved category candidates required to deposit Rs 250/-

- Foreman Press: I.T.I. in Printing with 03 years experience in Composing & Proof Reading.
- Teacher/ Assistant Teacher: 12th standard under 10+2 pattern & B.T.C./ D.Ed/ D.S.E.
- Sewing Instructor: High School under 10+2 pattern with efficiency in Sewing training.
- Pharmacists: a) passed 12th class b) Pharmacists diploma c) Registered as Pharmacists
- Investigator: Graduate (Commerce / Economics / Maths / Statistics / Social Sc) with 2nd division.
- Supervisor: Passed High School Exam
- Prahari: High School under 10+2 pattern
