JNTUK Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA):

Semester Grade Point Average SGPA is the ratio of (sum of the product of the number of credits with the grade points scored in all the courses) and (the sum of the number of credits of all the courses in a semester), i.e.

SGPA = Σ (Ci × Gi)/ Σ Ci

Ci is the credits of the ith subject and

Gi is the grade point scored in the ith course.

Cumulative Grade Point Average CGPA is calculated by taking into account all the courses of all the semesters of a program, i.e.

SGPA = Σ (Ci × Gi)/ Σ Ci

Both SGPA and CGPA shall be rounded off to 2 decimal points.

The subjects in which the student has got Zero grade points will also be included for calculating SGPA and CGPA
