Programmes offered All Undergraduate degree courses (B.Sc., B.A., B.Com., B.H.Sc. etc.) of study shall be governed by the provisions of this ordinance. |
Scheme of Instructions The courses shall be divided in six semester covering three academic sessions (03 years). A candidate is requred to complete the entire course of under graduate degree within a maximum period of 05 years from the session of first admission. Evaluation 30 percent marks in each theory paper and practical separately shall be assigned for internal assessment / CCE ( continuous comprehensive examination). 70 percent marks shall be assigned separately for each theory paper and practical of the university main semester examination. Attendance Requirement of attendance will be minimum 75% of lectures and practical delivered in a particular semester. There can be relaxation of 10% condonation of deficiency allowed by the Kulpati. |
Pass Marks For passing the examination, the candidate should secure minimum 33% marks in university theory and practical examination separately and 30% in CCE/Internal Assessment test. There shall be no supplementary or second examination in semester system of the course of study |

Jiwaji University Promotion ATKT RulesIf a student fails in 02 subjects in any one semester examination but clears all the remaining subjects of the examination, candidate will be allowed to keep the term (ATKT) and promoted to the next semester. Student can appear and pass the ATKT paper in next two successive examination of the same semester, along with the regular semester examination. In case if a student fails to pass the ATKT paper in next two successive examinations of the same semester, will not be allowed to appear in subsequent semester examination. Students can appear in all the papers as an ex-student in the next examination of the same semester. In case if a candidate fails in more than 02 subjects in any semester examination, she / he can not appear in subsequent semester examination. The student can appear as an ex-student in the next examination of the same semester. The candidate will not be given more than two ATKT other than the main examination, to pass a semester. The candidate can appear in 5th semester only when she / he clears all the subjects / papers and practical up of 1st & 2nd Semester. Grace Marks Maximum of one grace marks will be given to pass in a paper in each semester and one grace mark for improvement in division in the final semester. Both the grace mark shall be given together. |
