The student can have maximum 4 backlogs (FF) pending, without considering the backlogs of the immediate previous semester.

If the student has backlogs more than 4, without considering the backlogs of the immediate previous semester than the student gets detained for one year.

Example: Suppose the student is in 4th semester and has 2 backlogs in Sem-I, 2 backlog in Sem-II and 3 backlogs in Sem-III. The backlogs of sem 3 will not be considered which is the immediate previous semester.  Thus total backlogs of the student are 04 (2+2). The student will not get detained.

  1. Looking to present uncertain situation,I would like to request that Detained students of 4 sem BE 2020 may be permitted to appear in 5th Semister with UNDERTAKING to complete. All blocks of sem 1 & sem2 in next two Semister i.e.sem 5 and sem 6.So if remedial exam can not be taken by July 2020,their year can be saved and also future aspect can be taken care of.As sem 5 will be starting from 21 at June 2020,urgant decision require.
