MP CPCT 2020 mp computer proficiency test

MP CPCT is introduced by Government of MP in the State to assess computer proficiencies including keyboard proficiency and other allied skills of the candidates applying for various Government Jobs. CPCT 2020 is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The full form of CPCT is COMPUTER PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATION TEST (CPCT). Candidates wishing to get employed in MP government Jobs (Clerical Grade-3/ Office assistant/ Data Entry operators)  will be required to appear in the CPCT. The CPCT scorecard will help recruiters to evaluate computer proficiencies and associated skills of a candidate. Jobs in various Government departments and agencies. The CPCT score card will be valid for 2 years from the date of exam.

Eligibility criteria

The minimum eligibility criteria to appear in the CPCT are

1) The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2)  or The candidate should have passed Polytechnic Diploma after 10th class.

2) The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years on the date of registration.

MP CPCT FEB Exam dates are announced:

Online Application Start Date: 14th January 2020

Online Application End Date: 3rd February 2020

Exam Date of CPCT: 22, 29 February 2020 & 01st March 2020

CPCT 2020 registration process application form

  • CPCT registration process application form 2020 shall be available on CPCT Portal (www.cpct.mp.gov.in) or MAP-IT portal (www.mapit.gov.in). The registration can be done either in Hindi or in English.
  • Registration by a candidate will also create the profile of candidate on the portal.
  • The candidate can Pay Exam fees, download Admit Card, Score Card etc.
  • Login details of CPCT portal of the candidate will be sent on registered Email ID and the message will be received on the registered mobile number.
  • Once the CPCT application form is submitted successfully no modifications can be done in it.
  • After successful registration and payment of test fees, candidate will be allotted test date and test center.
  • If test date is not available, MAP_IT would refund the fee paid by the candidate.

CPCT exam fee

The CPCT test Fee is Rs. 660/- (Rs. Six Hundred Sixty only) For all candidates

The test fee can be paid by online payment (Net banking / Credit / Debit Cards) or cash payment at MP online kiosk

The fees once paid is not refundable in any case.

Following  are the  test centres for CPCT 2020:

  5. Ujjain

  7. Sagar
  8. Satna

CPCT admit card

The Admit Card/ Hall Ticket will be available at least 5 days prior to the date of exam. The candidate can download the Admit Card/ Hall Ticket from CPCT portal. A printout of Admit Card/ Hall Ticket is required to be carried by the candidate to the allotted Test Center while appearing in the test.

The candidate should also carry an original photo ID card like the Aadhaar card, Driving license, etc on the day of Test.

MP CPCT 2020 TEST PATTERN

There are two sections

  1. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and
  2. Typing test in English & Hindi.

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) – 75 question will be asked from the syllabus. Time allowed to attempt these questions is 1 hour 15 minutes. This paper will be in English and Hindi both languages

MP CPCT Typing Test

CPCT English Typing Test: English paragraph typing will be done for 15 minutes. Before the start of the test, the candidate will have to take a mock test of 5 minutes.

CPCT Hindi Typing Test: Hindi paragraph typing will be done for 15 minutes. Before the start of the test the candidate will have to take a mock test of 10 minutes.

For Hindi typing Remington (GAIL) or Inscript keyboard on Unicode will be provided for typing.

A candidate has to attempt both the sections. There is no negative marking in the Test.

MP CPCT syllabus

There is no change in CPCT Exam Syllabus. Note down following important points about syllabus:

75 Questions (MCQ) will be based on following topics

  1. Basic knowledge of Computer Operations
  2. Familiarity with Computer Hardware and Software
  3. Proficiency in general IT skills, such as Networking, Internet, Email etc.
  4. Reading Comprehension Skills
  5. Mathematical/ Reasoning Skills
  6. General Awareness

Typing Test for proficiency of the candidate in English and Hindi typing

  1. Typing in English Language
  2. Typing in Hindi(Unicode) language

MP CPCT Score Card

The scorecard of the candidate will be published, after all the objections are validated by the Objection Handling Committee.

The MP CPCT Exam scorecard will contain total marks scored in MCQ and net typing speed for both Hindi and English Language. The scorecard can be downloaded from the website www.cpct.mp.gov.in.
