GPAT Exam admission notification is announced by AICTE. Accordingly, Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test will be held on 28th January 2017.
The AICTE GPAT 2017 is required to be taken by aspirants for admission to PG Pharmacy courses in various Government/Gov. Aided/Private AICTE approved Institutions. We are providing details of GPAT 2017 How to Apply, eligibility criteria, examination pattern and syllabus, result, counseling, etc. in the following paragraphs.

1) The candidate who has passed Bachelor of Pharmacy course (B. Pharm.) is eligible to apply.
2) Candidates who have passed B. Pharm through lateral entry are eligible to apply.
3) Candidates who are in final year of B. Pharm are eligible to apply.
4) There is no age restriction for appearing in GPAT.
GPAT EXAM Application Form
is available on official website www.aicte-gpat.in. Click on
“New Registration". Read instructions given on the page & then
click on Submit button to initiate registration process. Fill the online application
form giving personal details, educational qualification, examination center,
contact address, mobile number, email id & then click on submit button.
The candidate will get a GPAT Registration ID & Password on the email id provided. Candidate can log into his account by using the GPAT ID & Password and upload the scanned passport size photo & signature in the prescribed format given in the instructions. Pay the application / registraton fee by online payment through Debit Card/ the Credit Card/ Internet Banking or cash deposit in SBI Bank through Challan.
For general/ OBC candidates
For SC/ST/PWD aspirants Rs 700/-
GPAT is an Online Computer Based Test which consists of one paper of 3hrs duration in which objective type of questions are asked. Total Questions asked are 125 and Questions type is Multiple Choice Questions. Total Marks of the test are 500 marks (4marks for each question) and duration of test is 180 minutes. There is Negative Marking (One mark would be deducted for each wrong answer response). Syllabus is that of Graduate course of Bachelor of Pharmacy.
Candidate can PRINT his / her ADMIT CARD by going to website www.aicte-gpat.in from 13th January, 2017.
The GPAT 2017 result would be announced on 10th February 2017 The Test qualified aspirants would be invited for counseling.
