AVAILABILITY OF SEATS:- The sanctioned seats
of Government Autonomous Medical Colleges and Government Dental
College shall be filled in accordance with the reservation policy
of the State
Government and shall be filled up by selected eligible candidates
2013 Entrance Examination through counseling.
4.1 Fifteen percent seats are available for ALL INDIA CANDIDATES
on the basis of All India Entrance Examination for admission to
B.D.S. course in autonomous colleges conducted by Central Board
Secondary Education in liaison with Director General of Health Services,
Government of India.
4.2 Twenty seven seats are available in Autonomous Medical Colleges
seat in Autonomous Dental College for Government of India NOMINEES.
(See appendix -11-12) and one Unreserved seat is available in Medical
College, Bhopal for students of Laksh Deep (See appendix-13).

4.3 The Government of India Nominees, are exempted from entrance
examinations, however, they shall be required to fulfill academic
as described in rules 6.1 and 6.2.
5.0 RESERVATION: - 20% Seats are reserved for candidates belonging
scheduled tribe, 16% to scheduled caste and 14% to other backward
excluding creamy layer. The remaining seats are available for Unreserved
5.1 Three percent (3%) seats are reserved for admission to M.B.B.S.
courses for Physically Handicapped who are bonafide residents of
Pradesh and belong to ST, SC, OBC and Unreserved category. This

AVAILABILITY OF SEATS in private medical and dental colleges:- As
per Hon'ble Supreme Court
order in I.A.-56,57, 58 & 59 dated 9-12-2011 50% seats will
filled by state through PMT
RESERVATION:- Every Institution shall be allowed to fill up to
15% of the
sanctioned seats by NRI candidates only, in the manner prescribed
admission and Fee Regulatory Committee. These NRI seats shall be
though a separate Counselling. NRI Seats remaining vacant shall
into the Counselling of Non NRI Candidates, as per Hon'ble Supreme
order in Civil Apeal No. 8429-8430/2010 dated 30-09-2010
20% Seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled tribes
16% seats to Scheduled castes of M.P. and 14% seats to Other Backward
Classes other than creamy layer of OBC of Madhya Pradesh or as amended
from time to time.
(1) In each category, 30% Reservation for woman candidates shall
made on merit-cum-option basis.
(2) The minimum percentage of marks in qualifying (10+2) & entrance
examination for eligibility for admission to Under Graduate Medical
Dental courses shall be 40% for SC / ST / OBC candidates and 50%
unreserved category candidates.
(3) Candidates claiming to be a candidate belonging to SC / ST /
Creamy layer) category of Madhya Pradesh shall have to provide
original certificate issued by the Competent Authority/ District
of M.P. under his signature and official seal, at the time of scrutiny
documents Permanent Caste Certificate is compulsory for admission
reserve category. Otherwise candidate will not be allowed to participate
in the counselling. Certificate must contain despatch No., date
signature of the officer and seal.
