UP state entrance examination, UPSEE, is being conducted for the admission in the professional courses offered at various Institutions of Uttar Pradesh. UPSEE Is conducted in the month of April. The notification of UPSEE 2018 is not released by AKTU. Details of UPSEE exam in subsequent paragraph is based on the exam conducted last year. These details are subject to change and will be updated here after the release of UPSEE 2018 brochure.
The UPSEE is conducted for
admission to the first year of the following courses offered at the Institutions.
The duration of the course is also given.
(i) 4 years B.Tech./B.Tech.(Ag. Engg.) Course
(ii) 4 years B.Pharm. Course
(iii) 5 years B.Arch. Course
(iv) 4 years BHMCT Course
(v) 4 years BFAD Course
(vi) 4 years BFA Courses
(vii) 3 years MCA Course
(viii) 2 years MBA Course
Admissions are also offered to 2nd Year (Lateral Entry) of B. Tech /B.Pharm. /MCA courses.
Candidates are required
to fill the UPSEE Application Form through the website http://www.upsee.nic.in.
The On-Line application form submission consists of following three steps.
(i) Registration (Filling up of Personal and other Details)
(ii) Uploading of Scanned Images of Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression
(iii) Payment of Examination Fee and Printing of the “Confirmation Page”
Candidates are not required to send “Confirmation Page” printed after completion and submission of On-Line application form to the University. Click the link at the bottom to know detailed procedure of filling of online UPSEE Application Form.
The UPSEE Exam Fee is Rs. 1300/- for Male/Transgender candidates of General & OBC category and Rs. 650/- for Female candidates/ Physically Handicapped candidates of all categories and SC/ST candidates.

The candidate should have passed class 12th or equivalent from recognized board
with the specified percentage of marks and specified combination of subjects
based on the course chosen. Candidates having diploma in engineering are also
eligible. Candidates with diploma in Architecture are eligible for B.Arch. course
PG programme: The candidate should have passed UG degree securing specified percentage of marks.
There is no age limit for the exam.
Lateral entry in
B.Tech: The candidates should be Engg. Diploma holders or B.Sc. Graduates
with Mathematics as one of the subject at XII standard with the specified percentage
Lateral entry in B.Pharm: The candidate should have passed 2/3 years Diploma in Pharmacy with the specified percentage of marks.
Lateral entry in MCA: The candidates should be Graduates of BCA or B.Sc.-Information Technology/Computer Science with the specified percentage of marks.

UPSEE Exam Pattern: The
questions in the exam paper will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Each question
will carry 04 marks.There are 11 different papers where
paper 1, 2 and 3 carries 600 marks, pen paper based exam.
paper 4 is for 500 marks, pen paper based exam.
paper 5,6,7,8 are of 300 marks, computer based exams.
paper 9, 10, 11 are for 400 marks, computer based exams.
There will be No Negative marking.
The candidate will have to choose paper depending upon the course in which admission is sought.
The candidate will not get their Admit Card UPSEE by post. Candidates can download admit card from official website http://www.upsee.nic.in from the date given in the schedule. For downloading the admit card, the candidates will be required to provide their password and application number. Check your Admit Card carefully for your Name, Paper, Date of Birth, Gender, Test Center Name, City and Category. In case of any discrepancy, communicate to AKTU Office immediately for necessary action. The candidate will have to show the Admit Card for admission in the examination room.
Candidate should give choice for THREE UPSEE exam centers. Exam cities are different for paper based test and computer based test.
