The UPSEE 2017 Entrance Examination for admission to first
year of the following courses offered at the Institutions affiliated to AKTU,
Lucknow including other mentioned universities situated in Uttar Pradesh for
the academic year 2017-2018 shall be conducted by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical
University (AKTU) Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.
(i) 4 years B.Tech./B.Tech.(Ag. Engg.) Course
(ii) 4 years B.Pharm. Course
(iii) 5 years B.Arch. Course
(iv) 4 years BHMCT Course
(v) 4 years BFAD Course
(vi) 4 years BFA Courses
(vii) 3 years MCA Course
(viii) 2 years MBA Course
Admissions are also given for 2nd Year (Lateral Entry) of B. Tech /B.Pharm. /MCA through lateral entry.
Candidates are required to fill the UPSEE 2017 Application
Form On-Line through the website http://www.upsee.nic.in. The On-Line application
form submission consists of following three steps.
(i) Registration (Filling up of Personal and other Details)
(ii) Uploading of Scanned Images of Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression
(iii) Payment of Examination Fee and Printing of the “Confirmation Page”
Candidates are not required to send “Confirmation Page” printed after completion and submission of On-Line application form to the University. Click the link at the bottom to know detailed procedure of filling of online UPSEE Application Form.
The Entrance Examination Fee is Rs. 1200/- for Male/Transgender candidates of General & OBC category and Rs. 600/- for Female candidates/ Physically Handicapped candidates of all categories and SC/ST candidates.

Candidate should be a citizen of India (FOREIGNN NATIONALS, NRI
candidates and Kashmir Migrants can also apply)
There is no age limit for the exam.
For admission into UG programme candidate should have passed class 12th or equivalent from recognized board with the percentage of marks given at the bottom link. Candidates having diploma in engineering are also eligible. Candidates with diploma in Architecture are eligible for B.Arch. course only.
For PG admissions candidate should have passed UG degree securing min. 50% marks.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO SECOND YEAR (LATERAL ENTRY) OF B.TECH. / B. PHARM./ MCA
Lateral entry in “B.Tech. for Engg. Diploma holders or B.Sc. Graduates with Mathematics as one of the subject at XII standard”/ “B.Pharm. for Diploma holders” in third semester (second year)/ “MCA for Graduates of BCA or B.Sc.-Information Technology/Computer Science in third semester (second year)”, is open only in the institutions affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow.

UPSEE 2017 Exam Pattern: The questions in the exam paper will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Each question will carry 04 marks.There are 11 different papers where paper 1, 2 and 3 carries 600 marks, paper 4 is for 500 marks, paper 5,6,7,8 comprises 300 marks and paper 9, 10, 11 for 400 marks. There will be No Negative marking. The candidate will have to choose paper depending upon the course in which admission is sought.
From Paper 1 to Paper 4 will be pen paper based exam.
From Paper 5 to Paper 11 will be computer based exams.
The candidate will not get their Admit Card by post. Candidates can download admit card from official website http://www.upsee.nic.in from the date given in the schedule. For downloading the admit card, the candidates will be required to provide their password and application number. Check your Admit Card carefully for your Name, Paper, Date of Birth, Gender, Test Center Name, City and Category. In case of any discrepancy, communicate to AKTU Office immediately for necessary action. The candidate will have to show the Admit Card for admission in the examination room.
Candidate should give choice for 03 exam centers. Exam cities are different for paper based test and computer based test.
Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4 are OMR based Tests and shall be held in various cities given in the Examination City Table-I
Paper 5, Paper 6, Paper 7, Paper 8, Paper 9, Paper 10, and Paper 11 are Computer based Tests and shall be held in various cities given in the Examination City Table-II.
