2018 is organised for admission into B. Tech programmes in Engineering and Technology,
Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering and Genetic Engineering of SRM (Sri Ramaswamy
Memorial) University, Chennai. SRM University selects candidates for following
(1) Kattankulathur Campus – Chennai,
(2) Ramapuram Campus – Chennai,
(3) Vadapalani Campus – Chennai,
(4) NCR Campus Ghaziabad – Delhi,
(5) SRM University, Haryana
SRMJEEE (SRM Joint Entrance Examination) is the national level entrance test which is conducted in the month of April every year. The interested candidates can apply for the examination in the month of October 2017.

Candidate should have passed 12th Standard (10+2) with minimum 65% marks aggregate in, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Similarly, for Biotechnology, Biomedical and Genetic Engineering courses a Candidate should have passed 12th Standard (10+2) with minimum 65% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidate should have passed 12th Standard (10+2) with minimum 60% marks aggregate in, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Similarly, for Biotechnology, Biomedical and Genetic Engineering courses Candidate should have passed 12th Standard (10+2) with minimum 60% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates who want to attempt Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the SRMJEEE are eligible for all the B.Tech. degree programs.
Candidates who want to attempt Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the SRMJEEE are eligible for B.Tech. Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics and Genetic engineering programs and also for various programs in Health Sciences.

The SRMJEEE Admit Card will
be available in the first week of April 2018. The candidates can download the
admit card from the official website of SRM University. The admit card will
not be sent by post. It is required to paste the recent photograph on the Admit
The admit card will contain name, photograph and address of the candidate. It will also contain address of the exam centre.
SRMJEEE Exam is an online
exam consisting of multiple answer objective questions. Each question will be
of three marks. Right answer will fetch 3 marks.
There are four parts in SRMJEEE Exam:
Part 1: Physics, 35 questions, 105 marks
Part 2: Chemistry, 35 questions, 105 marks
Part 3/4: Mathematics/Biology, 35 questions each, 105 marks each
The total marks of the exam is 315 marks. There is no negative marking.
The Application Form will be available in the month of October 2017. The application form can be filled in online or offline mode. Online Application Form will be available on website http://www.srmuniv.ac.in. Offline Application Form (OMR application form ) will be available in the university campus.
The registration fee is Rs 900/-.
Entrance examination will be conducted only in Online mode. Candidates have to carefully go through the relevant list of test cities and choose the place and its code number. It is mandatory to choose three test cities.
Candidates should browse for all the details at www.srmuniv.ac.in during a specic period and choose the examination slot. The Centre of Examination and the session, once allotted to the candidate, shall not be changed under any circumstances. While every effort will be made to allot a centre in the Test City opted by the candidate, the university reserves its right to allot a centre other than that of the candidate’s choice.
Result will be announced by SRM University in the month of April. Result will be available on the website of SRM University. Itwill contain score and rank of the qualified candidate. Candidates can get result by entering their application number.
Merit list will be prepared by the SRM University on the basis of candidate’s performance in the exam.Cut off refers to minimum marks or rank which obtained by candidates in Entrance Exam to be eligible for counselling procedure. The rank obtained will be intimated through SMS
Candidates qualified for
counseling should download the counselling letter. In the counselling letter,
details of counselling will be mentioned, along with candidate’s rank.
Candidates must attend the counselling according to counseling schedule.
