Common entrance exam for design (CEED) 2018 is being conducted on 20 January 2018 for the admission in MDes and PhD programs. This exam is conducted to assess the candidate’s aptitude for design. CEED scores are used by the institutes for giving admission apart from their usual process of admission into these courses. Validity of CEED SCORE is 1 years from the date of announcement of the result.
CEED examination 2018 will consist of two sections known as part A and part B. Part A examination is of 1 hour duration in which objective type of questions are asked. Part A exam for testing candidate’s design aptitude. Part B examination is of 2 hour duration which is used to test design, drawing and writing skills of the candidate. This examination is taken on the answer books provided at the exam centre. It is compulsory for the students to appear in both the parts. Answer books are evaluated manually. Answer book of only those students will be evaluated who have qualified in part A examination.

IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIITDM Jabalpur, and IIT Kanpur
Ph.D programmes in Design
IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIT Kanpur.
CEED 2018 qualified candidates
may be required to appear in further tests and / or interviews for the final
selection / admission conducted by the respective Institute.
